Can you tell us what led you to develop Mentio?

Over the last few years, I’ve built a physical brand and then pivot to digital services, but one problem always kept surfacing regardless of the circumstances: how do you stand out in a saturated market without being intrusive?

I understand the frustration of promoting Businesses online in today’s saturated market. Traditional methods feels forced, and consumers are wary of ads. Meanwhile, potential customers are discussing problems your product could solve – but how do you engage them authentically?

I wanted to solve this problem in a way that felt organic, leading to more organic product promotion, and that’s what led to Mentio.

How did you validate the concept for Mentio before starting development, and what specific gap in the market were you aiming to address?

I tend to focus on my own challenges when validating new concepts. The primary problem I faced was reaching out to potential customers in a saturated market in a casual manner, without coming across as intrusive or being ignored. 

With Mentio, our approach is to engage the right people casually, aiming to transform the landscape of marketing and sales.

Mentio, Organic Product Promotion: How Mentio Enhances AI Customer Engagement

In a market filled with AI-driven marketing tools, what sets Mentio apart from other products that focus on online engagement and automation?

Most other AI Marketing Tools are just spam bots that are polluting the internet and people’s spaces. We focus on providing value for all parties with ethical engagement, we adhere to legal rules set by FTC and community standards. 

Our platform enables brands to use organic product promotion through AI that engages potential customers in a casual, non-intrusive manner. With a user-friendly UI and full automation, we allow businesses to efficiently engage without falling into the common pitfalls of spammy automated responses.

What were some unexpected challenges you faced when designing Mentio’s automation features?

Development is tough, man, especially if you’re not from a tech background and you’re not really into it. So, I outsourced most of the dev work. The real challenge was figuring out who was reliable and skilled enough to handle it.

All about balancing getting top-notch skills while making sure they’re reliable enough to deliver on what you need.

Looking back on your journey with Mentio, what has been the most rewarding part of building this product, and what are you most excited about for the future?

I like to move quickly and want things done as soon as possible. This is an extremely useful skill in SaaS because the industry tends to be monopolistic and ever-changing compared to traditional ones. 

Being adaptable to new technologies and scaling them up faster than my other startups, reaching a significant milestone, and creating something people want and value has been a very rewarding part of building Mentio.
